Turkish authorities have blocked access to all social media accounts of Halk TV, a major opposition broadcaster. The ban covers its YouTube, X, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Telegram pages.
The blocked accounts have a combined following of more than 8.55 million people. The move follows the appointment of a government trustee to the channel.
