Jailed Istanbul Mayor Wants Former Opposition Leader to Testify

The trial of 436 defendants, including jailed presidential candidate and former Istanbul Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, resumed on the 35th day of its second hearing. Of the defendants, 53 remain in custody.
İmamoğlu has requested that Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, former leader of the main opposition party, be heard as a witness in the case.
