Turkish police have taken control of a TV channel that supports the country's main opposition party, Turkish media report.
Broadcasting on Halk TV was cut off shortly before 6 AM Norwegian time.
"Hundreds of police officers entered the building. People are not allowed in while the search is ongoing," Halk TV wrote on its own website.
Turkey ranks near the bottom of the UN's press freedom index, behind countries such as Iraq, Sudan, and Cuba.
In May this year, police stormed the offices of the opposition party CHP.
