Antalya has welcomed 14 million tourists this year, even as wars rage in nearby regions. Hotel occupancy stayed strong this fall, a sector representative said. Bookings dipped just 5%, a small drop caused by economic stagnation in Europe and the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war. Arrivals from other markets more than made up for those losses, the representative added. The Mediterranean city is now preparing to host COP31, the United Nations climate summit.
