Ukraine's 3rd Army Corps applied the lessons of the failed 2023 counteroffensive to a new operation, called Operation Vivaldi. Instead of large assaults, it fought in small units.
Five months into the operation, the corps has reversed 18 months of Russian gains toward Sloviansk.
