The European Union has sanctioned 1,569 Russian arms suppliers and their executives in its biggest round of penalties to date. Most of the listed firms support the supply chain for the ballistic missiles Russia fires at Ukrainian cities. EU ministers pledged to maintain pressure on Moscow, even as the United States eases its stance on Russia.
