Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella says artificial intelligence (AI) needs an "emergency brake."
In a Saturday morning post, Nadella wrote it is time "to step back and assess the trust architecture" of AI.
The term "trust architecture" refers to the systems and rules that keep AI safe and reliable.
Nadella's comment adds to the growing debate over how to control AI as it becomes more powerful.
