Peter Arnett, a journalist who delivered eyewitness reports from the front lines of Vietnam to Iraq, has died. He was 91.
Arnett died on Wednesday in Newport Beach, California. He was surrounded by family and friends, his son said. The reporter had recently entered hospice care for prostate cancer.
He won the Pulitzer Prize in 1966 for his international reporting on the Vietnam War for the Associated Press. Arnett spent decades covering conflicts, often placing himself in extreme danger to document wars for a global audience.
