The son of acclaimed Hollywood director Rob Reiner has been formally charged with his parents' murders.
Nick Reiner, 32, appeared in court on two counts of first-degree murder. His parents, director Rob Reiner and wife Michele Singer Reiner, were found dead in their Los Angeles home on Sunday.
After the hearing, the defendant's attorney, Alan Jackson, described the case as a devastating tragedy for the family.
The court proceedings continue.
