Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Thursday there would be a response to a Russian strike that hit two buses in the frontline city of Kramatorsk. The attack killed 30 people and wounded 18 others.
France 24's Andrew Hilliar says the strike is part of a growing number of Russian attacks on civilians in Ukraine. UN figures show that more civilians had been killed in Ukraine as of August this year than in all of 2025.
