Police have asked the public for help finding a key witness in a campus shooting at Brown University. The witness is believed to have been very close to the gunman.
The search for the shooter has now entered its fifth day. Officials still do not know who opened fire or why.
The shooting happened last Saturday in an exam room at the prestigious university in Providence, Rhode Island. A man with a rifle fired multiple shots before fleeing. No one was injured.
At a briefing on Wednesday, police said they have no new leads on the suspect. Their main request was for the potential witness to come forward.
