Russia launched about 70 missiles across Ukraine overnight, killing at least 18 people and injuring 26 others, officials said.
In the city of Pryluky, 14 people died. Two people were killed in each of three other cities: Kyiv, Kremenchuk, and Oleksandriia.
Among the 26 injured were five children. A missile strike collapsed part of a five-story building.
