Fighting in northern Ethiopia has forced the United Nations to suspend aid operations in the region, the agency said.
The renewed hostilities are blocking the delivery of food and medicine to civilians caught in the conflict.
The UN called on all parties to allow safe, unhindered access so that humanitarian workers can reach those in need.
Aid groups warn that the disruption threatens to worsen an already severe humanitarian crisis in the area.
