Turkey blocks 147 X accounts over currency crisis posts

Turkey has blocked 147 accounts on the social media platform X, formerly Twitter. The accounts belong to economists, academics, and other users. Together, they have more than 2.6 million followers.
The blocked accounts had shared posts about Turkey's currency crisis. Turkish authorities have not explained the reason for the blocks.
