British Prime Minister Andy Burnham said Wednesday there are "strong indications" that Iran was involved in suspicious activity at a UK airbase over the weekend.
"There are strong indications that Iran played a part in what happened over the weekend at RAF Fairford," Burnham told the BBC.
The bomb scare occurred Sunday near the airbase in southwest England. RAF Fairford is used by the US military in its war against Iran.
Burnham said the investigation is still ongoing.
