KATHMANDU — Around 30 people have died in Nepal after heavy rain triggered landslides, officials said. The deaths come one month after catastrophic flooding struck the country. Rescue teams used helicopters to airlift trekkers stranded on mountains cut off by the slides. Heavy rain continues to raise the risk of further landslides across the region.
