A Ukrainian Hornet drone struck a Russian radar station 120 kilometers behind the front line, likely destroying a Nebo-M system worth approximately $100 million.
The Nebo-M is a mobile radar system designed to detect and track aircraft, missiles, and drones at long range. Russia uses it to coordinate air defenses and guide strikes against Ukrainian targets.
A brigade officer said the strike is part of a broader Ukrainian effort to cut Russian logistics and deprive Russian forces of radar and electronic warfare capabilities.
By targeting high-value systems far behind the front, Ukraine aims to weaken Russia's ability to detect and respond to incoming attacks.
