Neighbors of a Massachusetts Institute of Technology professor have expressed shock after he was found shot to death in his apartment.
Nuno Loureiro, a respected plasma physicist and educator at MIT, was killed on Monday night in Brookline, Massachusetts. Police are conducting a homicide investigation but have not named any suspects.
