President William Ruto has promised to resolve a long-running border dispute with Uganda over a tiny island in Lake Victoria.
The pledge follows new reports of Kenyan fishermen being harassed by Ugandan security forces around Migingo Island.
Ruto said Kenya will use "all methods, including diplomatic means and all other lawful avenues" to settle the issue. The rocky island has been claimed by both countries for over a decade, causing repeated tensions.
The dispute centers on fishing rights and territory. Ugandan authorities often arrest Kenyan fishermen they accuse of entering their waters.
