Iran's President: 'We Want Peace, But We Cannot Trust America'

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said Iran wants peace but still does not trust the United States. In an interview with CBS News, Pezeshkian said Tehran finds it hard to trust Washington. He pointed to what he called daily pressure imposed on Iran. "As long as they don't cease doing what they're imposing on us every day, it's difficult to trust them," he said. His comments suggest that hopes for warmer ties between the two countries remain uncertain.
