LGBT activist Duru released after NATO summit arrest

A university student and LGBT activist known as Duru has been released from detention in Ankara. Duru was arrested during operations ahead of the NATO summit.
Duru will now face trial without being held in custody. The next hearing in the case is set for January 7, 2027.
