Samara refinery hit again: both main units burning

Ukraine struck the Kuibyshev refinery in Samara overnight, hitting its AVT-4 and AVT-5 distillation units, according to reports. Distillation units separate crude oil into products like gasoline and diesel. The plant had only recently restarted after a previous Ukrainian attack in June shut it down. By morning, smoke covered the region. Both units are now burning.
