Harry Roberts, whose 1966 murder of three police officers shocked Britain, has died at age 89.
He died in a hospital last Saturday after a short illness, according to a report.
Roberts served 48 years in prison for the killings in Shepherd’s Bush, London. The crime sparked one of the country's largest-ever manhunts.
He was released on licence in 2014 and had been living in sheltered housing in Peterborough.
