Serbia's president has threatened reprisals after a plan to build a $500 million Trump Tower in Belgrade was abandoned. The project failed after a Serbian minister was indicted on Monday.
The minister is suspected of abusing his official position to support the real estate development. The cancellation is a rare setback for the Trump family's international business efforts.
Protesters and a state prosecutor successfully opposed the project. In response, President Aleksandar Vučić promised to punish those responsible for stopping the tower.
