Thousands of people have fled their villages in Cameroon's Far North Region after retaliatory attacks, allegedly by suspected Boko Haram fighters. The survivors are seeking refuge in the town of Waza.
Families from more than 10 villages around Makary and Medouga arrived in Waza by truck.
The attacks followed massacres in Medouga, though details of the violence remain unclear.
