Turkey says Mecca Defense Pact nears completion, open to new members

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said Saturday that the Mecca Defense Pact between Turkey, Pakistan, and Saudi Arabia is progressing well and reflects strong political will. He added that the agreement will be open to other regional countries once it is fully institutionalized.
