Milan Targets West Ham's Struggling German Striker in January Loan

AC Milan is preparing a January loan move for West Ham United striker Niclas Füllkrug. The 32-year-old German international is not part of manager Nuno Espírito Santo's plans. West Ham is ready to offload the player after a disappointing spell. Füllkrug joined West Ham for £27.5 million in the summer of 2024. He has failed to score in nine appearances this season. The striker has not started a match since October 4 and was left out of the squad entirely for Sunday's 3-2 home loss to Aston Villa. His signing is now seen by the club as a major mistake by former technical director Tim Steidten. The proposed loan deal would allow Füllkrug to restart his career in Italy. West Ham may also consider offers for James Ward-Prowse and Guilherme in the January transfer window.
