Congress hearings on AI? Chip Roy says yes, but no new rules

U.S. Representative Chip Roy, a Republican from Texas, said Congress should hold hearings on artificial intelligence (AI). He spoke on CNBC's "Squawk Box." Roy said he supports congressional oversight of AI. But he does not support new regulations for the technology.
