US House passes first Russia oil sanctions in two years

The US House of Representatives passed its first major sanctions on Russian oil in two years. The bill now needs only one signature to become law. In Brussels, the EU pledged an additional €3.3 billion in support. European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen promised more aid is coming. Meanwhile, Russia struck Kyiv's water system. Ukraine reported that none of the incoming missiles were intercepted. Ukraine hit back at two Russian S-400 launchers in the Bryansk region. Those same launchers had bombed Kyiv hours earlier.
