UN: US strikes on Iran school and sports facility were war crimes

A United Nations fact-finding mission said on Thursday it found reasonable grounds to believe the United States carried out two military strikes on a school and a sports facility in Iran in February, and that the strikes amounted to war crimes.
The same mission also found that Iranian authorities committed crimes against humanity during their deadly crackdown on anti-government protests.
The findings appear in a new report by the Independent International Fact-Finding Mission on Iran. The report will be submitted to the UN Human Rights Council.
