Singapore Choked by Indonesian Wildfire Smoke
Singapore was covered in haze on Tuesday as smoke from wildfires in Indonesia pushed pollution to health-risk levels across the island. All five regions of the city-state recorded unhealthy air quality, the first time this has happened since September 2019, according to the National Environment Agency. Singapore's air now ranks among the 10 most polluted cities in the world, according to IQAir data. The capitals of Malaysia and Indonesia are also on the list.
