Russia launched 453 drones at Ukraine overnight, continuing its increased air campaign.
One drone struck just 800 metres from a border crossing with Poland. In response, the Polish military scrambled fighter jets and helicopters.
Poland has warned of "escalation" following the strike near its territory.
