Developing nations demand bigger say in global governance

Indonesian Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto called on developing countries to push for a larger role in global governance. Speaking at an international forum, Hartarto said emerging economies should have more influence in decisions that affect them. He argued that current global institutions do not reflect the growing economic weight of developing nations. Hartarto urged these countries to work together and speak with one voice on the world stage.
