Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto called on BRICS nations to deepen cooperation in industrialization and global supply chains. He made the call during the BRICS summit, according to a report by Antara News on Sunday.
Prabowo said the group should work together to build stronger and more resilient supply chains. He also stressed the need to boost industrial development among member countries.
BRICS is a bloc of major emerging economies. It currently includes Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa, along with several new members.
The President's remarks highlight Indonesia's push to play a larger role in the group and in global trade.
