Russia strikes train on Kyiv-Warsaw route used by foreign leaders

A Russian strike hit the engine car of a train traveling from Kyiv to Warsaw, on a rail line that foreign officials had used just minutes earlier, according to reports. Former Swedish Prime Minister Carl Bildt and other officials were returning from a summit on that same route. They were not on the train when it was struck. No casualties were immediately reported. The attack targeted rail infrastructure linking Ukraine's capital to Poland, a key corridor for diplomatic travel and aid.
