Turkish court asks ministry about ECHR's Kavala ruling

Lawyer Köksal Bayraktar has applied to halt the execution of Osman Kavala's sentence, citing a violation ruling by the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR). The ECHR is the top court of the Council of Europe, which oversees human rights. Istanbul's 13th High Criminal Court has asked the Ministry of Justice for the ruling.
