US sanctions hit Turkish, Kazakh, Malaysian firms over Iran ties

The United States has sanctioned companies from Turkey, Kazakhstan, and Malaysia for acting as general sales agents for Mahan Air, an Iranian airline already under long-standing US sanctions.
The move came alongside sanctions on 27 Iranian airlines.
