A voting error by the Election Authority was discovered by accident when an IT system in Nynäshamn began acting strangely. The municipality raised the alarm, but several days passed before the Election Authority could confirm that significantly more votes had been registered incorrectly. The IT system handling early voting had to be rebuilt immediately.
