Putin meets Trump envoys in Moscow — Ukraine talks called “difficult”

Talks between Russia’s President Vladimir Putin and two envoys sent by U.S. President Donald Trump began on Saturday evening in Moscow. The envoys, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, met with Putin to discuss Ukraine.
Putin said the two sides would need to handle a “difficult” negotiating situation. He gave no further details.
The American delegation is expected to travel to Ukraine on Sunday for the next round of discussions.
