Ukraine has confirmed it carried out a strike on a major fuel facility at Russia’s Ust-Luga port on the Baltic Sea.
The plant is operated by Novatek, Russia’s largest independent natural gas producer. Kyiv says the facility supports Russia’s military operations.
The full impact of the strike on production remains unclear.
Ust-Luga is a key export hub for Russian energy. The attack marks one of the deepest strikes by Ukraine on Russian infrastructure this year.
Russian officials have not yet commented on the extent of the damage.
