Chile Elects Pinochet-Admiring Far-Right President

Chile has chosen its most conservative leader since returning to democracy 35 years ago. Voters elected José Antonio Kast as president on December 14. He won by campaigning on promises to reduce crime and restrict immigration. Kast is a controversial figure.
