Germany’s Taurus missiles could be headed to Ukraine after Russian drone scare.

German politician Wolfgang Kubicki has called on Berlin to warn Moscow that further acts of sabotage on German soil could lead to the delivery of long-range Taurus cruise missiles to Ukraine. Kubicki’s demand follows a Russian drone attack near Leipzig airport, which he described as a serious escalation. The politician argues that Germany must respond with a clear deterrent. Taurus missiles are precision-guided weapons with a range of over 500 kilometers. They are currently in German military stockpiles but have not been sent to Ukraine due to concerns about escalation. Kubicki suggests that a direct warning to Moscow would make the cost of further attacks on German infrastructure clear. He believes the threat of missile delivery would serve as a stronger response than current diplomatic measures. The proposal comes amid rising tensions over Russian sabotage attempts in Europe. German officials have not yet commented on Kubicki’s statement.
