A senior Istanbul municipal official, Ramazan Gülten, who is currently in detention, has spoken out about his experience, saying he and others are being questioned throughout the night. In a letter, Gülten described his time in prison as marked by both resistance and hope. He began his message by recalling a famous poem by Turkish poet Nazım Hikmet, titled "Some Advice for Those Who Will Be Imprisoned," using it to frame his current state of mind.
