China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan Railway Breaks Ground, Unlocking New Trade Route

A major infrastructure project linking China, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan has officially entered the construction phase. The new railway is set to become a key corridor for freight and passenger traffic across Central Asia. The route will connect China’s western Xinjiang region with Kyrgyzstan and then extend into Uzbekistan. Once completed, it is expected to significantly shorten travel time for goods moving between China and Europe, offering an alternative to existing sea and overland routes.
