Filipino domestic helpers who survived a deadly Hong Kong blaze say they will remain in the city, despite trauma and loss.
The fire last month was Hong Kong's most fatal in decades. On Sunday, 35 survivors attended a support event at St John’s Cathedral.
They described losing all personal belongings in the inferno. Some have continued working for their employers and moved with them into temporary housing. At least one helper, however, has lost her job since the tragedy.
All expressed a firm intention to stay in Hong Kong.
