Bahrain has strongly condemned a deadly ISIS attack against Syrian and U.S. forces in central Syria.
The assault occurred near the historic city of Palmyra in Homs province on Saturday. Officials reported several casualties and injuries.
In an official statement Sunday, Bahrain's Ministry of Foreign Affairs denounced the terrorist attack. The statement was carried by the Bahrain News Agency (BNA).
The kingdom also reaffirmed its solidarity with Syria. Bahrain pledged its full support for Syria's security and stability.
This condemnation marks a continued diplomatic stance from Manama against extremist groups in the region.
