Neura Robotics buys ADLATUS to create AI giant

German robotics company Neura Robotics has acquired ADLATUS Robotics, a move aimed at building what it calls a “physical AI powerhouse.” The purchase brings together Neura’s work in humanoid robots with ADLATUS’s expertise in mobile robots for industrial use. Physical AI refers to machines that can understand and act in the real world, not just process data. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. The combined company will focus on developing robots that can move and work alongside humans in factories, warehouses, and other settings. Neura says the acquisition will speed up production and expand its customer base in Europe and beyond. ADLATUS, based in Germany, makes autonomous vehicles that carry heavy loads indoors and outdoors. Its technology will now be integrated into Neura’s broader robot lineup. “This is a key step in our mission to make intelligent robots part of everyday life,” said a Neura spokesperson. “By joining forces, we can offer more complete solutions to our clients.” The deal is expected to close in the coming months, pending regulatory approval. No job cuts have been announced.
