Ukraine’s Drones Blinded Russian Radars and Destroyed Three Warplanes

A Ukrainian drone strike successfully destroyed two Russian fighter jets and a spy drone at a base in southern Russia, while a simultaneous electronic attack blinded radar systems across a vast stretch of occupied territory. The aircraft were hit at Vityazevo, a Black Sea airfield that the Russian jets had fled to after earlier strikes made their original bases in occupied Crimea too dangerous to use. The attack also targeted radar installations, disabling detection systems from occupied Crimea all the way to the Russian city of Rostov. This left a wide section of the front line temporarily blind to Ukrainian aerial movements. The operation marks a significant blow to Russian air power in the region, forcing Moscow to relocate key assets and exposing gaps in its defensive coverage.
