Twelve people were hospitalized after a serious traffic collision involving a taxi and two minibuses Sunday morning. The accident occurred near the University of Hong Kong.
Police reported the crash at 9 a.m. on Pok Fu Lam Road. The injured include nine women and three men. All were taken to Queen Mary Hospital for treatment.
Online video appears to show one minibus hitting the taxi, before being struck from behind by the second minibus. Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
The green-topped minibuses are a common form of public transport in Hong Kong, operating on fixed routes.
