A fast-paced chess tournament concluded in Homs, Syria, on Saturday. The event celebrated the anniversary of the city's liberation.
Thirty-nine players from different age groups competed. The format was rapid chess, featuring seven rounds. Each player had 15 minutes on their clock, with a five-second bonus added per move.
The top three finishers were Ezzedine al-Radwan in first place, Adnan Khaddam in second, and Iyad al-Sayed in third.
